Did you breastfeed you baby after C section directly ?

Hello guys, i will be having a c section in a couple of days. I was wondering if I could breastfed my baby directly or do i have to bottle feed then change to breastfeeding?
I want to know your experience

Yes you can definitely breastfeed after but for me was very painful as I couldn't lay my baby on me due to the csection so I choose to give her bottle instead.

I wonder if you heard about not raising your head from an older relative or friend? 
It may have been a standard procedure in the past when spinal headaches were more common, but improvements in technique and the needles mean it’s more rare to get one. 
I didn’t breastfeed right after my c-section because my baby went to the NICU. But I was sitting up and trying hand expression within an hour of surgery and pumping shortly after that.

You should definitely be able to breastfeed. You've already got colostrum and your milk will come in just as it would with a vaginal birth as it's the placenta separating from the uterus that causes your body to produce milk. You shouldn't have any problems!

I had no problems breastfeeding immediately after I had my c section. Some people like to use a nursing pillow but I found it easier without.
