Stopping fertility meds

I’ve tried 5 cycles of IUI with no luck. During that time I was on Femara for 5 days with trigger shot. I’ve decided to take a break for fertility treatment and just go back to trying on our own. Right now my period is 2 days late. I took a test 4 days ago and it was negative. Is your cycle normally off after stopping fertility meds? Also just to add to the confusion 2 cycles ago I had a lap done to check for endometriosis which they found and it was removed. Periods have been normal since then...
