I was wondering can you develop it after you’ve taken the glucose test ? I’ve been noticing lately I’ve been extremely thirsty and extremely thirsty. Had mine done at about 27 or 28weeks and it came back perfectly normal .

I passed mine and developed it late.
When I question why it was ‘missed’ the doctor said I developed it after the test

It’s possible. I would immediately talk to your doctor about it. In the meantime, until you find out more, try your best to minimize carbs and cut out sugars. Balance your carbs with proteins. I have GD but I failed the one hour and three hour test. The GD diet is basically like a keto diet, except with a little more carbs. The key is balancing them with protein. Protein protein protein. If nothing else, the best case scenario is that you don’t have it but you’ve been eating healthy. I basically live off of berries, veggies, eggs, yogurt (holy crap so much yogurt), whole grain English muffins, meats, and cheeses.

You can get it at any time. If you suspect you have it you could ask for another test, or just start testing your own blood sugar. Look up what your should be eating and just start eating properly.

I passed the glucose tolerance test twice. I had to test blood sugars for a week last week because baby is measuring big and they diagnosed me yesterday at 37+1. I’m being induced tomorrow because of size and gd.
