Does he want to go out?

Question

I asked a guy out yesterday saying “coffee on Thursday?” And he responded with “could work”. I didn’t know if it was a yes or no. So I just said “you let me know”. 
I take it as a no, I got a vibe that he didn’t want to say a flat out no but he didn’t want to say yes either so it’s like a maybe

To put it bluntly - I dont think he wants to go out. 
There's no enthusiasm there, no effort to actually make the plan ... personally I would take the hint. I want a guy to at least sound like he wants to see me, and make a bit of effort.

I think he means it could work with his schedule or something. Still I wouldn’t see it as over positive unless u said a time n place tbh

He might just be playing hard to get.. he could be really into u and doesn't want to show it yet.. I've had experience with that 🙄🙄 or he really isn't that bothered.
