Spotting or period?

I have been having mid cycle spotting for the past three cycles. This month the spotting is actual bleeding to the point where I don’t know if it’s spotting or period and it’s lasted four days so far. It does not seem like AF. I am so upset, I never had mid cycle spotting before TTC. AF is due is 7 days and I am worried I am bleeding too much. I feel tired and weak and I don’t know what to do.

My OBGYN is going to do some tests but they said to call when I start AF as they need to do them at the beginning of my cycle.

I can’t find any useful information online about this type of thing and I just feel depressed 😢
