What do you mommy's think?

Good idea or no? I'm a first-time Mommy, and the only worry I have with getting something like this is Maybe cutting off oxygen? Although they don't have to be on all day type of ordeal. I was thinking it could go on while everybody's holding him to kind of protect the umbilical cord and keep it close to his body without getting snagged on anything or anyone. But what do you mommy's think?

I work in OB. The cord needs air to dry. This could trap moisture and that can lead to an infection. If his cord is longer and snagging on things, put a bandaid on the end that’s dry so it doesn’t snag on anything.

Urhmm ... No. 
The cord will fall off after a few days. It won't hurt the baby. But if you cover it your going to prolong the process and possibly get an infection. 
I have no idea why this product exists when we have been doing just fine letting them be all this time 🤦🤦

A onsie while people visit will do you fine. Air time when just  you for skin to skin will help it dry and heal.  You would maybe in use this for a week. Not worth it ♡

You do not want to cover the cord while it is healing. It needs air to dry out. I wouldnt waste money on that.

In my country they do this and idk why but never done it with my kids even tho my mom advice me to lol... i don’t think its necessary
