So I always see videos on the internet of kids around 5 years old (tends to be Asian children I don’t know if that’s relevant) playing extremely advanced piano that is really difficult for the size of their small hands

I’m a pianist myself and i was never forced into it it was all my own choice so I know how much work is required to get to that level even as an adult.

For a child that young to reach that level there has to be some type of really heavy discipline from the parents and dedication. I’m not saying this either good or bad, I’m honestly unsure.

Not just applying this to piano, could be anything. Should kids just be kids and parents should force this type of thing? Or is it good for them?
