Hypothyroid mama needing to increase oz while pumping at work

Hi mamas, I have been breastfeeding and pumping for my 10 month old her whole life. The whole household recently had RSV and my supply dipped while sick (also got a steroid shot because I had been sick for 12 days without any improvement).

I nurse her in the morning, then pump at work and nurse her in the evenings and usually at least once overnight. My issue is that pumping used to yield at least 12oz a day (which is what she takes at daycare). Now I am lucky to get 6oz.

I’m trying to drink lots of water and am eating oatmeal as well. As a hypothyroid mama, I can’t do fenugreek or other supplements to help with supply because it negatively affects my thyroid function.

Does anyone have any other advice to help me pump more during the day? I am going to run out of frozen milk before she’s a year old and definitely don’t want to wean before then! So I need to make more so I can send plenty with her each day without having to resort to formula to supplement (She hasn’t had formula since her first week of life while my milk was coming in).

Any advice is appreciated!
