Milk supply drop?

How immediate is changes in milk supply? My baby is exclusively breastfed and I feed on demand. Today I had a dentist appointment and due to their horrible scheduling, I ended up being away from my baby for 4 hours with no pump.He usually eats 3 or 4 times in that time! So tomorrow will my milk be less productive around this time?

I've often wondered what if baby is sick one day & doesnt eat as much, like a 24hr bug. Does that mean my supply will immediately drop the next day? I would imagine a few missed feedings for 1 day will be okay. Our bodies take a few days to boost supply(naturally) I would think the same thing for decreasing supply, it would take a few days.
