Baby monitor volume?

Question

What do you all keep your baby monitor volume at during the night? I don’t have a video monitor, just sound, and it has 5 different volume levels. I usually keep it at second to lowest, but lately I’ve been waking up during the night just because my baby is a loud sleeper and not because he needs me. I’m wanting to switch it to the lowest volume tonight and see how it goes. So I was just curious what works for everyone else as far as volume is concerned?

Mine is on silent and I have the screen off, we’re just the room over so if I hear her or wake up I just turn it on to check on her

Lowest setting for sure!  If she actually needs me, it’s definitely loud enough!

Lowest setting. Also have a camera. So if I hear him making noise that wakes me up I check the camera. Sometimes he’s awake other times he’s just tossing and turning or having a bad dream and resettling himself. 
Our rule of thumb - if he’s standing or full on sitting up we go in. If he’s rolling around (eyes open Or closed ) we let him sort himself out.

Lowest setting. Sometimes he’ll cry for 10 seconds and fall back asleep so if it was louder I’d probably wake up, go to him and accidentally wake him when he was really sleeping. If he cries properly and long enough (more than the 10 second cry) he wakes me up and I go feed him.

Lowest setting and light off on the camera. My son is in next room and when he cries he cries the full street can hear his so I don’t really need the monitors at all lol
