How many diapers?

Before my daughter was born, We bought five packs of (40) newborn size diapers. 
We have two packs left. We have been using them since she was 5 days old (now 16 days old). She currently weighs 6lb 2 oz and the diapers go up to 10 lbs. 
How many more diapers should I buy? (I am more or less asking how long it took for your child to get to 10 lbs).

Probably about 3-4 more weeks worth if I had to guess. You can stick up on a whole bunch and just save your receipt and exchange for different sizes if you don't use them all

I switched to size 1 when my daughter hit about 8 pounds. Take the weight limits on diapers and clothes with a grain of salt. My daughter was born at 7lbs 5 oz and was 6lbs 11oz when we came home. When she was about 2.5-3 weeks we switched to size 1. She's a month old tomorrow.

I bought sz: 1 as soon as they started to run...you dont want to buy more NB  pampers and then your stuck with them when they dont fit anymore
