Tip at Dairy Queen?

So I got ice cream and I paid with credit and there was a spot for a tip. Do you tip at places like this? I didn’t bc I mean you don’t tip at McDonald’s right? They get paid hourly so idk. Am I an ass hole? 😂

I never tip at fast food 😂 I tip at restaurants, hair dressers, tattoo artists, piercers. What’s next tipping retail workers? Lmao

No I don’t because places like that.. the employees don’t get to keep the tips. My Bf worked at a Marco’s Pizza (basically like dominos.. but you can dine in) and they weren’t allowed to keep or split the tips. It goes straight in the company’s pockets.

Why tip? I never heard of tipping at fast food restaurants...don’t tip they already get paid minimum which is $8 or maybe more so no need for tip.

i always tip. my bf only tips at restaurants. it's ultimately up to you. personally i don't mind bc it's just an extra $4-5 and i think it's good etiquette for tipping culture, but my bf doesn't believe in tipping if there's no service in the first place.

ALWAYS tip at places like that. They get paid shit and usually the only thing that helps them pay their bills and survive is the tips + the pay. My sister worked full time at Dairy Queen and made 7.25 an hour, 45 hours a week. Tips were what she used to pay for her gas & food and if she didn’t have any tips for the week, she didn’t get to eat.
