Baby measuring ahead??

Question

Currently 29 weeks and 4 days and at my OB appointment at 29 weeks 1 day, baby was measuring at 32 weeks. Do I need to be worried? Does that mean he will likely come earlier than my due date (feb 3)?? Doctor said if he keeps measuring big at my next appointment then we will need to do an ultrasound to see what’s going on and it has be nervous. Any advice??

Literally this happened to me yesterday, 28+2 she said I was measuring at 32 weeks, she actually ordered  a growth ultrasound for me for my next appointment December 5th. She said she just wanted to confirm due date and make sure everything looked ok, she didn’t seem worried though she said you might just make big babies and that she makes big babies every pregnancy she has had she always measured a little bigger. I have had all my glucose testing done and it all came back negative so now I’m just waiting for the growth ultrasound. I feel like right now I’m growing more up rather than out like I can feel my fundal height super high but my belly isn’t getting much bigger, so we will see.

I'm 29+5. Baby is measuring 31 weeks. She's around 4 pounds now. She's been big the entire pregnancy. Big babies run in our family

I’ve measured ahead this pregnancy and my last. I had an ultrasound at 22 weeks and baby was in the 97th percentile. My midwife also said my fundal measurement is ahead. I did that last pregnancy as well and my baby was 9lbs2oz. I just have bigger babies. Plus, this is my 6th so i feel like my uterus stretches out pretty easily now. She said if I keep measuring ahead they sometimes offer getting induced at 39 weeks if I haven’t had baby yet, but it depends on your cervix ripeness and everything. I’m not really in to inductions, so I’ll have to think about it if it comes up. Every single one of my babies was born either 1 day before or 1 day after their due date, so I’m not really expecting anything different with this one. I wouldn’t mind having her at like 38 weeks bc man I’m so uncomfortable and huge already, but we’ll just wait and see. From my experience, just bc baby is measuring big doesn’t mean you’ll have them early, but it could happen. Good luck!
