Since he was born I've limited TV and tried to play with him, but lately he gets so frustrated and he hasn't really learned anything playing with me. He has a shape sorter that I got almost a year ago that he still hasn't figured out. He's waaaaay behind on his speech and nothing seems to help.

I've gotten so frustrated that I just put PBS kids on all day because I can't stand the constant tantrums. He doesn't follow even the simplest directions to do fun activities. Every time I think I find something fun and easy and creative, he manages to ruin it by throwing things everywhere and hitting. He's also suddenly gotten really clingy with me (I suspect because I'm pregnant) and won't even let me do anything by myself. He just knocks things out of my hand.

I'm just at a loss. He's too independent for baby activities but he doesn't seem to get toddler activities. What am I supposed to do with this kid all day??
