Grooming... you mean as if it’s some master plan? And who would be the groomers? Who does it benefit when people are self centered? Can you elaborate a bit on what you mean by grooming?

I don't think so. I think the younger generations are proving to be more caring. However, they're also fighting for orobator to recognize that self care is a thing. We're finally talking a stand on mental health & bullying. We're recognizing toxic masculinity & saying everyone deserves a break. We no longer want to boast about how little we've slept & how many hours we've worked to barely make ends meet. Older generations call it self centered, I call it self care.

We don't need to be groomed to be self-centered, we're born that way. That's why we teach children that they are not, in fact, the centre of the universe.

Westernized society promotes individualistic goals. The idea that you have to be better than the person next to you is completely individualistic. In more community based societies, being selfish and competing for personal guts and glory is seen as a horrible trait. But I also think it’s important to utilize selfishness that incorporates personal boundaries because corporations, especially in retail and service industry, will exploit the lack of personal boundaries and work someone to their early grave when they are making minimum wage and will retain no glory.

I could careless about society because their views of how people should be and act are messed up. Society thinks women should look like models to be the perfect woman. Screw that I have fat on my body, don’t wear makeup up, etc. I will never fit that image at all. I rather not get ideas from society because there are bigger things out there that doesn’t revolve around you. People are dying, starving, getting raped , forced into human trafficking, and much worse. I rather try to figure out how to help with that than focus on myself. Screw society specifically American society.

Yes 100% this new movement of everyone is toxic and doesn’t deserve forgiveness and should be cut off because your peace is going to leave everyone lonely as shit in years to come. We are created to need each other but it is being shoved down our throats that people are bad and we should be all about us. A slippery slope lol.
