Hurtful comment

Backstory: I’m 14 weeks pregnant, me and my husband lost a baby in January at 13 weeks.

We had thanksgiving with my in-laws today who I love. Who were very supportive during our miscarriage, my mother in law was actually with me at the appointment I found out our little angles heart stopped beating.

Anyway. My father in law was like “how ya feeling?” And I said “I’m okay” (been super sick, and dealing with other stuff) and then he said “are you still pregnant?”

Which I could see all over his face that he immediately realized what he said was probably not the best. But it was still like a punch to the gut. 😩

No advice or question. Just wanted to vent a little. 😩💔
