Did you wait until the baby was born to figure out the gender? (we want to wait until baby is born, just curious how many people wait, I respect both!)

We waited and it was the best decision and surprise!! It was fun because no one knew and once we gave birth we were the first to know and everyone couldn’t wait to find out! It made everything so much more exciting! Plus for the baby shower we got a lot of practical items and no clothes! It was nice.

We waited and it was the best thing ever. The whole pregnancy it was so fun taking guesses, seeing wigs the old wives tales said, etc. We had names picked out either way, did a gender neutral nursery. It was awesome cuz then for our shower we got the things we actually needed and not just a bunch of pink or blue stuff. 
Then as soon as baby was born, we just went out and got a few pink things to add to her nursery to make it a little more girly and less neutral.
We are 100% waiting this time around too. It’s just so fun in that moment to hear “it’s a girl” or “its a boy”

We waited for our first but not for our second and haven’t found out yet for our third but plan to. I’d rather it be a surprise but my husband wants to know so we agreed to ha e the first be a surprise and then find out any others

We found Out at the 20 weeks anatomy can but I’d really like to wait until birth for at least of of our kids (were planning on around 3). I think it’d be soooo fun!

No, we found out before we ever got pregnant.  We chose our gender...there is no way we could have waited.

We found out at the 20 week scan and didn't do a gender reveal. We just told people. We plan on doing the same for this second baby. I'd actually be OK with it being a surprise, but my husband really likes to know these things ahead of time!

With first I was desperate to find out, this one, I could honestly probably wait but will find out for sake of sorting out clothes (it will be a summer babe like my son so can reuse all the of clothes
hopefully).
I have a friend who didn’t find out with the first and did with the second. I personally think it helps with bonding with your baby during pregnancy. I have other friends who didn’t find out and the Dad was still calling him ‘it’ at two weeks old 😂

I thought of doing it , but as my bf said what's even the point bc you'll either way find out and he's right their no difference from finding out the gender at 12 weeks which can prepare you to find things for them than waiting 9 monthss just to be told it's really nothing big to me ( my preference) and if u don't want tell people the gender even if u know until after birth it's really the same thing but do what u like

I wouldn’t be able to wait. I’d be so anxious and I like buying colored themed things. I know that’s old fashion for some people but I’m having a girl and I can’t wait to start buying her bows and cute little purple blankets.
