Late positives?

Hi Ladies! I was just curious if anyone has had a late positive? Say you tested before your period, or the day you were supposed to start and got a negative. A few days later still no period so you test again and got a BFP! How many days after your missed period did you get your positive?

I was due today and got a negative and posted this same question earlier in another group... hope I may have ovulated late and will get my positive in a couple days maybe!

My AF is like clockwork. I did an at home pregnancy test 3 days late and got nothing, 4 days late and got nothing, then had my dr pull a blood test on day 5 and got a positive. It was a “25” on the beta test which is the lowest reading to confirm pregnancy. I was convinced I was pregnant bc I “felt” different and bc AF was never that late. My Dr said it’s not uncommon for the Hcg to rise slowly depending on how quickly the embryo gets embedded in the uterine lining. 
As an aside, I ended up miscarrying and now I’m waiting to test for my 🌈. I was due AF today, so I’m waiting to see if she comes to town (hopefully not). So far, so good. Otherwise, I’ll wait until until later in the week to test. Crossing fingers.

I was 6 days late when I got my BFP, I was so busy that week I realised on the monday AF hadn't started and thought I'll test, get a negative and she will start which is what has being happening for 3 years!
