School first or another baby?

Faced with a dilemma...I'm due to be starting my Nursing program come January, this program is a 2 year program that I've worked really hard at getting into and I'm very excited about. 
The dilemma being I really wanted to have my kids close in age. So, I had tried to plan it out perfect to get pregnant and have a due date of late May 2020 so I'd be off on summer break and be able to be home with new baby. And to my surprise I actually managed to do exactly that, but unfortunately ended in a miscarriage that left me devastated. Not only did I suffer a loss I, I also missed out on my perfect opportunity. 
So now I'm curious if I put off school a year to have the opportunity to have kids close in age or do I continue on my path to graduating Nursing school and become a Nurse? 
Nursing school will always be there but I will only have one opportunity to have my kids close in age. If I choose school first I'll be looking at a 4 year age gap between the first and second. However, if I choose to wait I'd like to get a job at the hospital in the meantime to gain additional experience.

I would say opposite. The opportunity to have a child will always be there, and two years is not a big deal. It will be much harder to finish and keep up with nursing school with 2 small kids. Finishing school now will make it more comfortable for you and your kids. You will have more time and energy to spend with them, because school is incredibly taxing, mentally and once you are in your clinical internships, its physically taxing as well. The chances of you not finishing school once you have your 2nd child is much higher.
You could always get pregnant in your last semester or so and have the baby's due date after the program is done.

You definitely want to go to school first. I went to nursing school and it was extremely difficult without a child. With just one child, it’s going to be very difficult. Just imagine with two children. That’s just the truth. And it’s not that big of a deal if your kids are close in age or not. Like sure it’s a desire of yours but if it’s not the most logical then you shouldn’t do it. That applies for everything in life. I promise you that you will struggle a lot more trying to do nursing with two young children

I think u should finish school as it doesn't really matter even if u have a baby 4 years from now it makes no difference from keeping them just 1year apart , ur first kid will still be small and so will ur newborn even if u waited 4years ,and raising two kids trying to finish school will be hard and you'll always just put school to the side and never finish , just finish it

Hi! Currently in nursing school and pregnant with my first! We timed it (and thank god it worked) that my due date is about a month after I graduate. 
It definitely makes school harder but I didn’t want to get pregnant during my first year of having a nursing job.

I just made a similar post about starting school & having a baby after or having another baby now before starting school but I want to be an orthodontist. I would have another baby if you want them close in age. I would have a 10 year age gap between kids if I waited & I definitely don’t want that but my SO seems to think that’s what we should do so I’m not sure what we’ll end up doing.

Both. I have gone to school every year since my son was born. Its doable.
