Husbands kids

So yesterday, I finally met my husband’s kids from a previous relationship. TEN YEARS. I was nervous but I’ve been ready. Our kids together also met them as well and were hesitant at first but in the end, they all got along 😭 It wasn’t until about a year or two ago that he was finally able to start seeing them. They live in another city so it’s every so often they all get together.

I never pressured him by asking if I could meet them right then. I wanted them to establish that father/child relationship first. So he asked yesterday and they were excited to meet us as well.

And I had actually seen them and their mother before while I was “just a gf” when my kids and I were with my mil. Mil didn’t introduce us or anything. I wasn’t upset about it because I’d rather my husband introduce us.

I only hope to have a good relationship with them. They’re very nice kids from what I’ve seen and heard :)
