Inducement

Is it bad if I want an induction done at 39 weeks? I’m 38+1 and last week they checked my cervix was open only a fingertip. Haven’t checked again yet

I have an appointment tomorrow so I’m hoping cervix is opened a little bit

I am walking a lot, squatting, bouncing on the ball, drinking cinnamon and ginger and red raspberry tea.. honestly trying everything but baby is comfy.

Is it bad to ask the doc to induce me next week when I’m in my 39th week? 🥺🙏🏻
