Evening Primrose Oil?

Anyone used it and what are your thoughts? Trying to decide if it’s worth it

I just started Friday! I’m 38w2 days now & was not dilated or anything at my appointment so my midwife recommended it to me. I’m inserting 2 1000mg capsules vaginally every night. The only thing I’ve noticed is that I’m having a lot more bh but I don’t know if it’s really related because it’s more for effacement and dilation. have an apt weds and I’ll know then if I’ve dilated at all!

Started recently, just vaginally not orally. Does give you more BH. It also comes out so I’d wear a panty liner. 
I won’t know if it’s working for a couple weeks.

I used it my second pregnancy and I started using it at 37 weeks and I took 3 capsules in my raspberry leaf tea and 3 1000mg capsules at night vaginally and did some walking when I could and I had my doctor at 38 weeks exact. I was dilated 6 centimeters when I went into the hospital.. I’m also taking it with this pregnancy I started at 36 weeks but just 3 capsules 1000mg inside of Me at night before bed for that whole week and I finally started dilating just a little and now I’ve started the raspberry leaf tea as well with some walking so I have a appt. weds to be check for dilation
