Marginal Cord Insertion?

At my 20 week ultrasound I was told I possibly have a marginal cord insertion, they didn’t seem too concerned and didn’t bring it up again until
today. I’ll be 30 weeks on Wednesday and I’ll be having an ultrasound on the 13th to check babies growth. Does anyone else have this? And what has your experience been like?

I also had this during my last pregnancy. All was good! Just checked to make sure baby’s growth was on track!

I had this with my last pregnancy. They did a third trimester growth scan and everything was good. The only thing my midwife said is that when I deliver they’ll need to be careful not to pull the cord too hard or it may detach. Otherwise the risk to baby is very low.

I was diagnosed with this at my 20 week anatomy scan also. The doctor didn’t seem concerned at all. She said I will start getting ultrasounds at 30 weeks to check growth. My first ultrasound is December 2nd.. I can’t wait to see her little face again! 💗

My baby B has it and so far she has been growing right along with her brother if not more.

This happened to me at my 20 week ultrasound as well. Just had my follow-up ultrasound at 29 weeks 1 day... whelp, his growth is definitely not being affected. He’s around 3 lbs 10 oz. when he should be closer to 2.5 LOL! So now I have to get another ultrasound at 36 weeks to see how big he is by then. Funny thing is, I haven’t gained much weight 🤷🏼‍♀️ My first son was 10.5 lbs at birth. I don’t think I can deliver another one that big 😅
