Periods and Mirena

I’ve had my Mirena in for like 3ish years now and for the last two days I’ve gotten what I think is a period? I’ve had spotting that turned into a light flow and I’ve had the WORST cramps ever.

Has anyone else experienced this on the Mirena? Does this mean I need to get it changed out?

Edit: my periods stopped almost immediately when I first got it put in, so this is my first period on the Mirena
