Miscarriage?

I am RH Negative partner is positive. I went to the ER do to bleeding. Did an ultrasound at 6 weeks said babies heartbeat was 80 bpm, which is low. Followed up with my doctor and she said she couldn’t see a heartbeat and gave my papers on miscarriages and how to cope. Well from my doctors appointment to now I’ve been taking test and my lines are still so dark. I see my doctor again on 12/2 and I will be 11 weeks. Does the line always go away if you are miscarrying or not always?

It can take a while even after you are done miscarrying. After my mmc it took 4 weeks to test negative. It depends on your body at the time.

The blood type matters if you start bleeding at which you need to get the “rhogam” shot. Even if you are miscarrying you still need it.

I had a MMC at just under 6 weeks, I had a D&C 5 weeks later (when I should have been 10-11 weeks). I was still getting dark positives until 5 weeks after my D&C (10 weeks after my miscarriage). I'm sorry, positive HCG tests don't mean you're not miscarrying.

When I had a miscarriage I had my blood drawn weekly to check my hcg levels and to make sure they were falling appropriately. I’m quite surprised your doctor hasn’t gotten you to do this! They should be making sure everything is passing through and that you don’t require surgery.. I’m in Canada so I don’t know if it’s different here? It just seems like she didn’t do much testing for a miscarriage..

It took 3 weeks after the start of my MC for my tests to not be positive. 
The best way is to get blood drawn every 48 hrs.

Unfortunately it can take some people's body some time for the hcg levels to start leveling off. Even after I had miscarriage, I still have had positive line.
