My daughter had a lip tie that looked like that. The ped said to leave it alone because more kids fall and hit their mouth and pop the frenulum at some point anyway. I was skeptical, had an appt with a ped oral surgeon who would release the tie and the day before she fell at preschool and sure as heck. She popped it herself 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Looks like it, but I don’t know that it would affect her past infancy. Get the nose as clean and dry as possible and put some aquaphor on it

My daughter had an upper lip tie and was referred by her pediatrician to a dentist who specializes in ties in babies and toddlers. He was able to do a laser treatment to fix it. The laser numbs the pain as they do the treatment, she just didn’t like being held down. It looked gnarly afterwards as expected and we had to do lip exercises for a few weeks afterwards since it can attach back. I’m glad we did it because it was in between her top two teeth. It wasn’t too expensive to do either. Hope he gets some relief!

Yes that is a lip tie. Both of my children had it abd they had to clip it because it was causing feeding problems
