What is the armbar on a stroller for?

Hi ladies, I'm a ftm and I'm not sure what the armbar attachment on the stroller is used for. If I attach the armbar, does it mean that I don't have to put on the seat belt? My son is 7 months and can sit up right now. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I Googled it and could not find a clear answer 😅

Always use the straps on things that have them. Even with trays clicked into place. The straps help them from falling out when you put them in and take them out. They also keep them from learning too far forward or trying to climb out.

I would always use the straps in the stroller while moving. I feel baby can wiggle out if not strapped in. We attach toys to our arm bar lol and eventually replaced it with a cup and snack tray
