Miscarriage Today

My husband and I have been TTC for 4 months and last weekend I got four positive pregnancy tests. We were very excited, but this morning I woke up with slightly more intense cramps and back pain. Also light bleeding that progressed to moderate. We went to the doctors today and the bleeding got heavier. They confirmed I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks 4 days. I am sad but really don't want to wait to try again right away. The doctor said to wait a month, but does anyone think it would be fine to start trying once the bleeding stops?
