Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone is going through something similar. For the past three days my nipples have been sooo sensitive during breastfeeding and I really don’t know why. My son’s latch hasn’t changed and he doesn’t have any teeth yet. So far my breastfeeding experience has been wonderful with barely any pain so I’m wondering what could be going on.

I’m thinking that it might be hormonal, maybe ovulation or my period returning so I was wondering if anyone has had this ‘symptom’ before their cycle returned.

I’m currently a little over 5 months pp and haven’t had any type of bleeding or cycle yet. I’m exclusively breastfeeding on demand, so I would be a little surprised if my period was coming back already, but I know that it’s possible and fairly common.

Would love to hear some of your experiences with breastfeeding and the return of your cycle!

P.S. I also took a pregnancy test today in the morning and it was negative.
