I’ve got a baby on the way and I have to buy a new car. I’ve always been partial to small economy hatchbacks but I’m thinking that might be too small once I have a stroller, and who knows what else, to carry around. Some friends have said that their VW Golf was perfect when they had a baby, others have said that I need a minivan because it is easy to load strollers in them. I’ve also heard that larger vehicles/SUVs are much better for taking babies in and out of because you don’t need to crouch down to do it. I’d like to have a vehicle that is as fuel efficient as possible, but I may just have to suck it up and get an SUV for the next while.

Just curious if anyone has opinions either way? Does your vehicle have features that made travelling with kids easier? Or is there a feature you really wish your vehicle had?
