Cheating best friend?

So I have a guy best friend and he has been in a relationship with his girlfriend for about a year now but every so often he will sext me and talk about how much he wants to have sex with me and honestly, I'm attracted to him too but refuse to do anything since he isn't single... Is this cheating? Should I tell his girlfriend? I don't want to lose him as a friend...
