I have no answers

Every time I tested (first response early result tests) I got vvvvfl for 3 days - day before , on , and after expected period date. I thought it wasn't a dark line because eof my short cycles 22/23 days instead of 28/30 . Then I began to "bleed" brown discharge and at times very very dark red for a day and a half. I have been still getting vfl but they don't get darker when I retest but I know they're there, my husband sees them and they're very pink . I have no idea what's going on. I feel sick and tired with sore breasts and crazy emotional.... But it shouldnt be such light lines if I'm actually pregnant... And if I had a chemical pregnancy the lines would get lighter... But what in the world could have made me bleed brown? Usually my period is 3 days very heavy on the first day and I get it early in the a.m not at 6pm like this time. I NEVER get it later than 7am each month ..... And it's always 3 days .. I'm confused and I didn't know if anyone experienced this and I can't keep letting my imagination run ... The women here have always had insite and helped each other , can anyone help me ?
