Is your 2year old potty trained?

My son is 2years, 4 months now and we are not there yet, he isn’t showing signs of readiness, just welcomed a baby sister to the family and is having a bit of a hard time adjusting. Just wondering where everyone else is at?

Nope, he’s not showing any signs either yet.  I’ve talked with our Ped and daycare too and they said most boys (not all) aren’t potty trained until closer to 3 and not to worry about it.

My son is about to be 3 and not potty trained yet. He really hasn’t showed interest. But we’ve been working on the potty for the last year. We kind of go on and off with it. But he is starting to grab at his dipper if he pees or poops and he does really good when I ask him to sit on his potty. So hopefully we’ll be close to him really being interested!

Mine will hold his pee for hours when we're out because he refuses to pee in his diaper. I've just bought a portable boy potty (looks like a water bottle with a funnel) for emergencies.
At home, he will tell us when he needs to pee or poop, so we don't use diapers or pull-ups when he's awake. I was going to stop using diapers at night as well because he rarely pees in his sleep, however he was just sick and did have a few nighttime pees.
I bought a washable waterproof bed protector and plan to stop using diapers once he goes a week straight without peeing in his diaper at night.

My son was almost fully potty trained before I went back to work in April 😖 now we have to start from scratch and we just haven’t been able to I feel awful.

Yes my son is pretty much potty trained except for at night and naps but he was showing signs of being ready before his 2nd birthday. Im sure your little guy will start showing signs soon. My son has a friend that's 3 and half who's just starting potty training. They all seem to learn different things at their own pace.

Yeah, she was potty trained 2 months before she turned 2.
I wouldn't stress it though, our oldest wasn't potty trained until 2 1/2.

My son (oldest) didn’t fully train until 3.5. He was 2 when baby sister arrived & also lost interest. But even if he’s not ready yet, you can build on this experience later, so don’t lose hope. My daughter is 2.5 & highly motivated to potty train so she can join big brother at school @ 3😆. But she was also interested early- 18 mos. It was novel & she got to sit on the big potty. For some redhead loved that- lol. I’ve been told girls are easier to train too.
