My ex’s best friend

So basically my ex broke up with me a few weeks ago because he sexually harassed me. So I caught genuine feelings for his best friend and I like him so much and he feels the same way about me. Except my ex doesn’t like that because he thinks it’s dog and he thinks he’s gonna drift from his best friend. But the guy I like his friends don’t like me, one of said I’m filth and then threatened to stab me if I dated him and two others said they’d stop being friends with him if he dated me. I have no clue on what to do. One of my friends said I should ghost him because it’s not gonna work but idk. I want it to work so does he because we like each other so much my ex and his friends are just standing in the way of us being happy together. All I want is the get over my ex and what he did and be happy. What is your opinion on this and any suggestions on what I should do?
