Do you need to be baptized to get into catholic school?

We plan on putting our son in catholic school but my mom thinks he will not get accepted unless he is baptized. My husband does not want to baptize him until he is old enough to make the decision himself according to the "new testament." My husband reads the bible, I don't. So apparently it's the new rule. My mom is fighting it because she said she never heard of that but she never read the bible so...... idk. But anyway I wonder if he will need a baptism cert to get in. I went to catholic school and a few of my classmates were not catholic which meand they were never baptized.
