Smoking and oral sex?

(I hope this is the right place to post this)

My new boyfriend smokes (not an heavy smoker, he smokes 2-3 cigarettes a day and some days only vapes) and I'm scared that if he'll give me oral sex it might be dangerous for me (even if I would always ask him not to smoke before giving me oral and to wash his mouth)... since smoking puts all that stuff in your mouth and saliva and idk if it's safe for me if he gives me oral... but at the same time I've looked it up on the internet and no one seems to be wondering about this so maybe it's no big deal and just me being paranoid? Please help, I don't know what to do. Thank you!
