Should I call?

My son is formula fed and a VERY good eater. He LOVES his food. Out of nowhere he is refusing his morning bottle and just screams when I put the nipple in his mouth. He’s had a bit of a cold so I’m worried maybe it turned into an ear infection? He’s fine other than that and only screams when I try to feed him. Should I call his doc?

My daughter had this the other day. She didn’t scream but had little to no interest in eating. I took her in and no ear infection but she was stuffy. The doctor told us to suction her nose. She really hasn’t acted sick otherwise but I do think she’s teething. The PA we saw said that babies can get ear infections in a matter of an hour or two. I’d get it checked out and then monitor it closely!

definitely get a doctor to check. my daughter was doing the same, rug using a bottle. every time i put a paci, bottle, medicine anything into her mouth she’d cry, refuse it, gag etc. found out she has rsv and a double ear infection. with someone else saying their baby had a ear infection also and acted the same id get checked to be sure!

This happened when our son had hand foot and mouth and a double ear infection. I’ve also heard teething can cause that! I don’t have any advice, just wanted to let you know when it happened to us, what was going on. Good luck to you, and I hope your little one feels better soon! 💙
