Child care?

What is everyone doing for child care? I live in upstate NY and I can’t figure out what to do a bout child care it’s all so expensive. I only need somewhere for my son every other Tuesday and the opposite Wednesday and Thursday but every in home daycare or babysitter charges average 15-25 dollars a hour. If I pay that for care I’ll be working solely for child care but if I stay home we’ll be losing my income plus insurance my job offers us and we don’t qualify for state insurance with how much my fiancé makes. I’m at a loss of what to do :/ any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated
