Childcare after leave

Hi all - I’m still early in my pregnancy but I can’t stop thinking about how we will work out childcare when I have to go back to my full time job after maternity leave. I only get 6 weeks and my husband gets 2 - we plan on staggering them but that means putting our babe in daycare at 2 months. My biggest concerns are cost of daycare and also, I commute to NYC from NJ for work so worried about being far away from the baby. Anyone else have a similar situation or advice?
