Ladies that got prego with endo

I did a lapo in October and i got my period fine the next month. The second period that came was 1 week late it was a 35 day cycle and that has never happened. I thought i could be pregnant but then got my period. I heard women can get pregnant after a lapo but what is some advice other than tracking your period and ovulation i can do?

I got pregnant the month after laparoscopy. I also had my tubes flushed & took Clomid.

It’ll take a few months for your cycle to regulate. Are you measuring your basal body temp every morning? its important to keep track of the curve, that will tell you about ovulation. As well as the opk test strips

You have to measure your body temp every morning at the same time. Best right as you wake up before you get out of bed. Have it at your bedside table. Just use an Oral thermometer. Then record that reading on a glow app, the regular one, there’s a section for it. It will chart all the numbers for you and show you your monthly curve. your body temp should rise almost a whole degree after ovulation. You can read up on bbt tracking more detailed on google.

I had a lapo two years ago and got pregnant two months later. I definitely recommend getting some cheep ovulation test strips off amazon to help know when the best time is to ovulate. When we got pregnant I ovulated a couple days earlier than I’d expected! Likewise, your body may still be healing from the surgery and take a little longer to be fully ready to carry a baby. It’s a massive surgery and I don’t think doctors warn patients about how much healing time may be involved. I know I wasn’t prepared. I’m currently pregnant with number 2 and got pregnant the first month we tried. I’m convinced it’s because my body wasn’t in the process of healing down there this time. Good luck!
