I need some advice. Update
Each Dr's appointments keep getting more and more upsetting. My daughter is currently measuring 3 weeks behind. I'm in so much pain physically that I'm struggling to take care of myself. I intake plenty of water and get atleast two meals a day and snack pretty frequently. I have two other children who need me but I'm supposed to be on semi bed rest. My husband taking off is not an option especially with holidays coming up, and family lives more than hour away. I'm starting to feel like if I'm going to have a smaller baby on my side and my wanting an induction isn't going to go as planned. Yes I want to be induced, we live over an hour and a half from hospital and no I've never thought about changing. Either way for the best hospital with great nurses and staff to care for smaller infants is over an hour each way I travel. I was also induced with my other two and they are completely healthy and was at birth. My oldest was even induced at 37 weeks and never had to have anything but longer skin to skin and an extra night stay at hospital. Anyways. Has anyone else had a baby be smaller in size and low in weight and went on to have a healthy baby and pregnancy? Please let me add that I'm currently 29 weeks and 5 days pregnant.
Update baby is in the 3rd percentile and I'm being referred to a higher risk Dr. He's talking about preterm labor and if not he's wanting to induce at 37 1/2 weeks. Not exactly what I had in mind but he says unfortunately some babies don't get all they need from momma. I'm kinda devastated and nervous but I know my baby will be well taken care of.
