Question

Does anyone else’s SO look at another women’s butt thinking you didn’t see him, then when you confront him he tries to lie about it?!
Tonight we were watching a movie, yes a movie (jumanji). Normally if I catch him looking I let it go just cause I know he’s gonna look it’s mostly out in public when I notice.
Well tonight we were watching and I was looking at him cause I think he’s pretty cute and at one point of the movie I noticed he looked down and watched her ass as she was walking. I said “no matter how long you stare it’s not gonna jump out at you” he looks at me and says “what?!” I said “I seen you looking at her ass” he’s like “I wasn’t looking at anything, I was watching the movie” I said “bullshit I seen you looking” and I was fine till he started lying about it and no matter how many times I said I seen him look he kept denying it and I think that’s what bothered me the most. 
Now he’s being all nice and shit trying to touch me cause he knows he was lying about it, even though he won’t admit to it. I don’t like how he can’t just man up too it and keeps lying about it like I’m an idiot!.

Well, while I appreciate honesty, I think accusing him of checking someone out is always going to come off the wrong way, and probably make most people uncomfortable, or feel attacked. 
And it's not really necessary, unless it's blatant and disrespectful and used as a tactic of manipulation.
If he's not really up to anything that bad, he's probably going to get defensive. And at worse, he could really not be looking like that, and you might look a bit too crazy or possessive.
Personally, I think it's kind of normal to check people out a little bit or just look at them if they're attractive. They don't have to be perceived as a threat. Although, ideally people could be honest about it and work through their feelings in a healthier, nondefensive, way.

So when my husband & I were teens, we went to the movies. I think we were seeing one of the Saw movies? So we get in, we sit down..it's super crowded. Next thing you know, this skinny girl with a big butt comes scooching past us to get to a seat, ass ALL up in our faces. I was always so insecure, and of course my husband was just full on staring..I mean, it was directly in his face so it's hard not to lol. I made a comment to him & then dropped it..but literally would sit and think about how much that pissed me off. But when I really thought about it one day when I was older, I realized it's just honestly in our human nature to look. That wasn't the first or last time he'll ever look. There were times a cute girl would be jogging in a sports bra down a street and he would look real quick..but honestly, so did I 😂. You have to put yourself in his shoes and just think if you would look in those situations as well. In my case, I look too lol so I stopped getting upset about it a longgg time ago

He lied because he doesn’t want to hurt your feelings and probably because he doesn’t want to get scolded. 
My husband likes legs and hips and I catch him looking at random girls. I get annoyed, poke fun at him, then move on. Of all the things to be upset over, this isn’t the hill for me to die on.
