How do you do combination feeding???

So I want to start combination feeding with my 3 weeks old son.. formula and breast milk. But not sure on how many feeds I should do. I'm thinking of starting with just two feeds of formula during the day and seeing from there... how do you combination feed???

I personally don't know, but  would recommend you ask your Lactation Consultant or Pediatrician. You would have to pump at the times when your LO is drinking formula to keep your milk supply up (and probably even more since pumps are less effective than babies). Best of luck :)!!

Thanks ladies. Yes I have started with one. I did speak with my lactation consultant and started with one. Lol he's not taking it to well. But it is early days. Thanks again!

^^yes! And I would start with one.  They can get constipated fast. When I need to I do one at night as formula takes longer to digest so he sleeps a little longer.
