After marriage. I personally didn’t believe in living with my husband until after marriage. We dated for 4 years, became married, then he moved into my home.

Our relationship is not like a lot of others. My SO and I were friends for a few years before we started dating. We both needed roommates. He moved in with me. We eventually (not long after) started dating. In January it will be 7 years.

We moved in after getting married, we dating for a year and were engaged 6 months - so 18 months later.

I waited a month after being with my husband to move in together. He was kicked out of his mom's place while she was his SSI payee and kept his money, so there were circumstances which pushed us to move in together early, and he couldn't get his own place because his mom wouldn't give him his money. I don't regret it for a second though.

I moved in with my husband after about 1 1/2 months of dating, been together 7 years now and never regretted it. Every person is different, but personally I believe you don't really know a person until you live together.
