Fear of birth?

Question

Is it normal to have a feeling of something going majorly wrong during labor and dying?
I've spoken to my doctor, and he told me to stop googling; but I also know 2 people who have passed hours after child birth who had no complications during pregnancy at all so it freaks me out. Please tell me im not alone! 🤦‍♀️

Yes completely normal. I've had 3 babies and all 3 of them I was so anxious about something going wrong and dying. But once I was actually in labor none of those thoughts even crossed my mind.

I haven’t worried about myself so much as I have my son, to be honest. I fully trust my medical team, though. I agree with your doctor: definitely stay off of Google.

This is my second pregnancy and I’ve bern worrying too. I feel like my daughters world would be torn apart. My husband would be so broken.
