How soon did you guys start to shop for baby?

I personally wanna start soon being that I’m not having a baby shower I’m 14 weeks now.

I was 4 weeks when I bought the first few items🤷‍♀️ 21 weeks with a girl. Just keep receipts in case you buy the wrong thing or something bad happens (god forbid) and if you buy gender specific stuff just in case so you can return it.

I found out at 10ish weeks, started getting stuff as soon as i had the ultrasound to confirm that it wasn't another m/c. We did secondhand and now have all the big stuff for less than $200 😊 once i have my anatomy ultrasound in a couple weeks i'll be starting with clothes and the other small things

I bought a few outfits here and there earlier on but I’d say about halfway through my pregnancy was when I really started shopping and setting everything from our baby showers up. There’s no set time or rule about it. Do it whenever you want to!
Although I will say that I had EVERYTHING bought and completely set up by 32 weeks and I’m sooo glad I did because I’m scheduled to be induced in a few days and I cannot, for the life of me, understand how or why anyone puts off getting everything ready until the last minute. I am so exhausted from just simply existing at almost 39 weeks. Seriously, getting out of bed feels like an accomplishment because even that takes time for proper maneuvering lol. The further along you are, the harder it is.

I started buying little stuff off Marketplace after I found out the gender but I wasn’t gonna buy anything else until after my baby shower. I got everything I needed at my shower and didn’t have to buy anything besides stuff I personally wanted.
