Is sharp pelvic pains (like lightning crotch) a sign of labor?

Is sharp lighting pains in pelvic bone/ vagina a sign of labor coming?

Sounds more like Pelvic Girdle pain... I've had it since 14wks pregnant. 
If you have a birthing ball sit on that to help relieve pain

I started getting lightening crotch at 27 weeks, my daughter wasn’t born until 39 weeks so no, I would say not a sign of labor :)

I have been having lightening croch since about 28 weeks and I'm 35 weeks. Its has gotten worse but thats about it. 
My ob didnt seem concerned when I told him about it. He said its very common
