Oh I never heard of that. I guess that’s ok then! But it looks kinda bruised like you’re being a bit rough on it

It was recommended to put coconut oil after I cleaned the piercing 😭

Do not put oil on a piercing omg tbh your piercer can probably give you the best advice

Definitely would not do coconut oil. Piercings are honestly better left alone. Salt water and a q tip will do just fine. It looks irritated to me so I would do the salt soak and clean around it with a q tip and skip the coconut oil. Make sure nothing is rubbing against it and rinse it with some water after your work outs, also make sure you have enough room for swelling.

Ive always used saline spray or wound wash on my piercing because thats what my piercer suggested and it always clears up an infection. I clean it twice a day at least if it’s sore or infected.

Noooo oil. Besides it’s gonna look like that when you first get it anyway. Try not to move it too much or it will irritate more

Don’t put coconut oil!!!! No no no! You want that area as dry as possible. If you get it wet by any means it can harbor bacteria and cause an infection! Just sea salt soak! Discharge is normal for a piercing, that means it’s healing. But if it starts to smell and has a weird dark yellow brown color, then it’s most likely an infection.

It looks like the start of an infection

Wash it a couple of times a day with warm water and then use the sea spray from the piercing place you got it at. Also double check with them but that’s what they should say

Yea do not put coconut oil on it and keep cleaning it consistently so the infection will be less likely to progress. And try to not be too hard on it friction and accidental tugs can cause the healing process to last longer than needed.

Oh yeah I can move it but weight training or me stretching causes it to move

Your bar looks a little short as well, does it fit comfortably and can you move it a little? If not I'd recommend going back to the piercer and asking for a longer more comfortable one.
