Did you have NICU time for babies born at 36 weeks?

My doctor has scheduled me for a c-section at 36 weeks and I’m wondering how many women had babies at 36 weeks with/without NICU time? I was hoping to push it back but my doctor doesn’t think it’d be safe to go past 36 weeks.

I was born at 36 weeks and didn't go to the nicu. I only weighed 4 pounds 11 ounces and was slightly jaundice but perfectly healthy breathed and ate on my own fine

My son was born at 36 weeks and he had weaker lungs and needed extra oxygen. Then after he got off the oxygen he got really really bad jaundice that he ended up having to be re-hospitaized for. But he was a very good size, 7lb 12oz and was 21 inches long

My son was born at 36 weeks and had no NICU time. He didn’t eat well at first so he did lose a decent amount of weight but got the hang of it. We were in the hospital 5 days but that’s because I couldn’t keep food down and he was actually discharged before me.
