Is it too soon?

7 days ago I got out of a 8 month relationship. The relationship felt dead for so long that truthfully idk why I stayed in it until he broke up with me. It’s very odd because we never said I love you and he would always yell at me. It was very toxic. Anyways, I downloaded some dating apps and started talked to new people. I’m really interested in this one guy and he seems like such a gentleman which I’m totally not used to. We are planning on going out in a few weeks because he is going to be moving back to my hometown. I feel kinda bad/guilty and weird since I just got out of a longer relationship but I really wanna meet this guy. Is it too soon? I rarely ever think about my ex and if I do it’s usually just about how awful he treated me
